Known as Find the Lady in England, Kümmelblättchen in Germany, Gioco delle tre carte in Italy and Three Card Monte in the United States or simply find the hidden object. This game has been around for centuries and across continents.
The master of the game, or the manipulator, is a professional assisted by accomplices sometimes called barons. They are in charge of making other people want to play and thus bring back the customers. In some cases they can use force if the player knows the trick. Partly because of this very dishonest organisation, the game of Three Card Monte is a real scam and that is why it is illegal to play Three Card Monte in many countries.
